It’s Halloween and it has been 2 years!

Though we don’t celebrate Halloween here but businesses are taking the opportunity to rake in some bucks by promoting the event. While we were in Mid Valley earlier, I saw some staff from a few of the restaurants there are putting on costumes to get attention.

To me, Halloween hold a special memory as we get to celebrate the true fashion of it exactly 2 years ago when we were in LA. Thanks to this mommy, we were invited for ‘Trick or Treat’ session around her housing estate. It was nevertheless one of our most priceless experience thus far. However, Darrius was too young to remember it.

This Halloween is actually sort of our anniversary for our trip to the US West Coast back in 2006. Two years has passed! How time flies… Both Darrius and Brandon were so small then! Now, Darrius can’t even fit into his first lion costume and probably the spiders are hiding in there! Guess I need to get some spider traps to trap those spiders trying to hide in Darrius costume eh? 😉

i was wearing a jacket 2 years ago for halloween but today was pretty warm. i only had my tee shirt and my thin layer of witch rag on me. will post my pictures soon. Brandon did most of the walking this time around. 2 years ago, he was in the stroller and sometimes we carried him a bit here there. last year, he walk half way and we carried him half way. this year …. he walked all the way … just one block though. yea, we went back to the same neighborhood for it.

My kids love Halloween simply for the costumes, though this year we didn’t join any party as Mommy was feeling too lazy. Darius looks so adorable in his lion costume.

  4. Halloween sure is fun in the states isn’t it? I remember bringing my 3 year old cousin around trick and treating back when I was staying with my aunt for awhile in Vancouver. He had this little pumpkin pail that he stores all the treats that he got from knocking on doors.

Darrius has grown since then, hasn’t he? And we have grown old. haha.
