We went for an early Father’s Day celebration… at Hotel Continental again! hahahaha! You must be wondering why we love going there? 2 times within the same week some more! Well, besides it’s air-conditioned, the food is quite ok, value for $$$, friendly staff as well as good service which always drew us back. During weekend, they do not have the Asian buffet spread but Ala-Carte Western meal with unlimited serving from their salad and dessert bar.
Actually, I have wanted to go to Breeks at Queensbay Mall but we were afraid we could not find any parking lot as it was a Saturday after all where that place will normally be soooo jammed up with the weekenders. That was why we decided to go to Hotel Continental instead… and we were glad we went there…

There wasn’t that many people and we were served with our orders within 10 minutes. Darrius was having another yummy session wallopping up cakes, cream puffs, jelly and watermelon…. forgotten to snap his cheeky face… all the pain gone coz can go kai-kai, walk-walk!

i think i have not stepped in to Continental Hotel for close to 30 years liao. each time i am in Penang, street food beckons…..my curry mee….lorbak….apom manis…barn charn kueh…char koay kak…chee cheong fun…..muar chee….**slurpsss….** aiyah…gua lau nuar liao.

Mmmm…. always love your blogging about food. Makes me miss the Malaysian food only, and the fact that no need to cook at home and can just go out to the stalls to “ta-pau”!! Haahaaa!
