On Thursday, we went out lunch with Darrius’s Ah Mah (grandmother) and Ah Chor (greatgrandmother), to celebrate Darrius’s Ah Chor’s birthday. This is the first time I get to celebrate Darrius’s Ah Chor’s birthday as the past 2 years I was in KL during June so did not get have any chance. Normally, there will be a big celebration with other relatives… but this year thingys has gone low key. We went to Hotel Continental as Darrius’s Ah Mah likes the good service there though the food is nothing to shout about but value for $$$ (only RM12 Nett per/pax) from Monday to Friday.
Darrius had a yummy good time as he gobbled down more than 10 slices of agar-agar (jelly), 5-6 pcs of fish sticks, baked potato and lots of other this an that!

Darrius enjoying his meal
The buffet spread is mostly Asian, with lots of curry dishes. Besides that, they also have a small Western corner where they served soup, baked potato, spring rolls (extremely yummy) and roast sliced beef/lamb.

My first serving
One of Darrius’s favourite is the dessert corner where there are jellies, kuih and fruit platters… which we had unlimited servings…
After lunch, I brought Darrius to the clinic to get his 18-month jab. Everything was fine until all these happened….
